We are all looking for more instructional time in our day. Sometimes social studies can get lost in this crunch for time. Together we will explore authentic ways to integrate social studies content into our daily Balanced Literacy block. After spending this learning time together, you will walk away with ideas, in addition to engaging lesson plans that utilize Jennifer Serravallo, Jeff Anderson, and Fountas and Pinnell. This course will embed ESL strategies, as well as culturally responsive instruction.
